Local Authority Redundancy to NHS Modification Order

I have a feeling this may be a local decision.
When I was made redundant from the NHS we were told if we got offered a job with either the NHS or the local authority within a certain timescale then this would affect our redundancy package.
Is it worthwhile calling HR or the union and getting information specific to your area?
Ps good luck
NHS terms are different from local authority ones.0 -
I have just taken a post with a CCG after being made redundant by the LA - I was advised by the LA HR and the CCG HR that the CCG isn't covered by the modification order.
(my union rep told me that it didn't matter who I took a job with - if it was within 6 weeks of being made redundant I would have to pay my redundancy back. I rolled my eyes at him)0
