Help: received a PE claim, should I pay or fight in court?

    Remind her that since Parking Eye are their agents, they can instruct them to cancel at any point (despite what Parking Eye tell them). Even if you get it in writing that the hospital don't want to proceed, you'll sink Parking Eye in court.
    Point out that since this is the first you've heard of it, you expect them to get involved, and when you are claiming costs for your wasted time you will make sure the hospital is part of the counter claim, as well as complaining to the Health Secretary and (I assume there is one?) Hospital Complaints Board.

    Go back to PALS, remind them of the Heath Secretaries statement, and tell them that you know they can cancel it, and that you're telling them to get it canceled.
