Hello I was wanting to find out what would happen if a driving test was missed due to illness? Could the person apply for a refund? If so what is the process?

A question for your driving instructor (if you have one and are not totally self taught) or the test centre you're booked to do your driving test with, surely?

I've just checked with my driving instructor mate and he says no refund available locally because it's a slot you've taken that could be used by someone else, unless you withdraw with at least 1 week's notice. Could be different region to region though, hence the advice above.

It's not a week, it's three working days. DVSA used to accept later cancellations supported by medical certificates etc, but stopped doing so a few years ago.
