Simple changes like I went to a rugby match today and all the other parents were buying yucky cheap coffee from the kiosk I took my good quality flask from home and a roll and a packet of crisps spend = £0.0

Carrying a thermos flask from home as suggested, but you could take it one further - mutipacks of snacks from the supermarket are cheaper than buying something when out, and often healthier too. Icecream would be a bit impractical, but cereal bars etc are all easy enough to tuck into a bag. You just need to hide them away so they don't all get eaten at home. But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.
