Switching Bonus - Question

A quick question around switching bonus

I notice a lot of accounts have a switching bonus payable on transferring to them.
There is usually some sort of minimum pay in level required.

What happens at some point after account switching if you fall below being able to pay in the minimum monthly amount

Depends on the account concerned. Some will levy a small charge, some will withhold the interest or reward.

You need to read the terms for each account.

If you can't afford to pay in, say, £1,000 one month, you pay in the same £500 twice.

If things are really tight you pay in the same £250 four times.
