By the time he'd paid it - all of his sins would have dropped off anyway.

While we on the subject of naughty OH's (mine won't settle for any bribe less than a new land rover discovery 3, which won't fit where I want to shove it), although we have joint accounts for everything all the cc's are in my name. Due to me being **rsed to pay the bills. Can he apply for a cc, as I can't seem to get any more to get 0%.Can we then transfer my balances to his card? can't think how else to get a 0% card to be a tart.

  • Well it looks like I've missed my chance.... the lightbulb has blown this morning!
OH realised this morning that not only does he have no money, but he now owes me £140 for paying his bills (even tho I said I wouldn't - at myself!)... and apparently its my fault
He said that I over exaggerated the cost of the bills this month and took more money from him than I should - I showed him the bloody spreadsheet .
He also decided that he wan't back his 'half' of all the Xmas/birthday/car ins money that we paid on over the last couple of months (only I paid in this last month)
So I said fine..... I took out what money was left in his acc that I put there yesterday, so his Sky bill will bounce in a couple of days time - tough!
I also worked out that after all the spends, he had £180 coming to him, but as he owed me £100 for the phone bill, plus he'll need to pay £55 Sky.... that doesn't leave him much at all :D

If he wants to throw his weight around, thats fine - buts he's throwing it in the wrong direction!

My father is exactly the same Sarah, one minute he's almost co-operative and then the next day he's going mental that there's no money.

Thanks TescoMum, I need to be tough with this one!

The light may well be flickering a bit again..... I told OH today that I was going to transfer all the household DDs into his name, give him all my money, and let him sort the household out! was his response.... te he he

He has gone out tonight, and I have asked him to seriously think about how he wants things to work, does he want me to be 'in charge' of the money or not? I will wait with baited (sp?) breath to see what the answer is!

Pay day is week tomorrow and already he owes me £177 :D ... altho his DS1 is over this weekend, so no doubt he will want more  AND its FIL's b/day on Sunday, prezzie not bought yet, and we're going out to a local pub for a meal - something tells me the IOU figure will grow somewhat! I shall make sure I get that back!
Can't imagine he'll be making a massive dent in his CC debt either  Not that it especially matters, as he gave me his cards to 'look after' and there might have been an 'accident' with a CC and a pair of scissors

Anyways, thats enough of me moaning about my OH - I do :grinheart him really!
