Have had a few people out to look, the first quote I have got back is the following, does it sound right? Also is it a decent boiler? I'm based in Newcastle if that helps, also a property I'm renovating so no care needed with the existing carpet or walls as I will be getting it plastered. Also it's a 3 bed flat with a small kitchen and bathroom so not huge
"Hi ***** I've done a cash qoute to try and keep your costs down bait ok.
1: Labour £500 (expected 2 days with all the floorboards etc)
2: Pipe, stat, fittings, bricks, cement etc £500 ( receipts and refund will be provided if over qoute but if i hit snags and need more the cost might go up a little but it's hard to tell at the moment)
3: baxi duotec 28kw 7yrs warranty £831.81. (includes Magna Clean)
4: Radiator pack including all valves at sizes indicated plus towel rail £320.
If you can get all materials, boiler, rads cheaper I'm happy to go Labour only ok so let me know once you've had a think.

hello im blyth area so not far from Newcastle
I got an estimate from a shop in blyth same boiler as you
mine was to fit new boiler (remove cylinder and water tanks )
remove and fit programmable R F room thermostat
replace radiators with thermostatic valves ( 7)
supply and fit magnetic filter
remove back boiler
the price for this was £2712 .00
and that's without new radiators so yours does not sound bad to me0 -
If he's good go for it because that is a great price.0
