Good morning all, another gloriously sunny day
Can someone please tell me why I have decided to decorate? Our room needs decorating, problem is if we do that then we would come out to grotty woodwork on the landing, the landing then runs into the stairs and dining room as it is all open plan, so I have to sand and paint 8 door frames, two window frames, the banisters and skirting and two wardrobe doors, and the loft hatch and frame. Obviously I also have to paint the ceiling and walls in our room, and when all that is done I have to paint the bathroom. Oh, and I also have 6 doors to sand down and varnish (although I am rather hoping OH will agree to changing those, but it is extremely unlikely!)
This includes moving furniture and a lot of stuff that OH has stacked on one side of the dining room, including phones, phone systems and other related stuff.
So, why did I even start this :eek:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Apparently the hottest day of the year:T:T

I'm always around at this time of day, just not necessarily on here. I left you all switched on from last night.
I also started decorating a bedroom at the start of the week when the weather was rubbish. Then the sun came out and it's stayed like it is with the paltry bit of painting I got done. I'll get back to it when the sun goes awayYours sounds like a lot of work though so good luck
I'm sure it'll be worth it

I sincerely hope it is worth it:eek: It will be a while before I get to the painting bit because I have to do it around helping OH at work too! And I forgot I have to sand the walls in the bedroom too because the paint finish is not great at the moment, it came up with little bumps on it last time.
Hope your blood results come through quickly and you get on the trial xxWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Can I just say. Speak your mind whilst you're able, say what you think. protect what is yours. Nothing lasts forever but don't let things slip away easily.
