    I understand that unless it specifies on the packaging that it was decorative and should not be washed...then the item is not "fit for purpose".....

    Yes.He is not on any medication now.He was on the maximum dose before and was still losing weight.I'm hoping the other thyroid gland doesn't start playing up now.

    He is eating much better now and just needs to regain some weight.

    Totally agree. Make sure you are paid all you are owed, then (and only then) give notice. You are worth more!
