    Evening all :)

Aj good to see you are a bit better :)

Today has been a bit mental :) my ds1 passed his driving test this morning and so happy for him but scared at the same time :)

Congratulations but yes, it is scary.

Though I do have a very nice memory of DD driving me around when having her own car was all still a novelty. She went through McDonalds drive-through, ordered 2 meals and then she paid, all from her driver's window and handed me my food. It felt most peculiar. Like role reversal. Never even asked me for my purse....

I thought it might mark a rite of passage, at least financially, but she soon started asking for money again...:rotfl:

Thanks for all the tips on the mullers - might get some tomorrow as I will be near an asda. I think it is quiet on here because trulymadly is not about - I love her posts and she keeps the thread moving quickly!

I found neither Princes Mackerel in Tomato Sauce (or any of the others fwiw) or Tuna Mayonnaise on Wednesday - complete no stock and no SELs but none of the stores I used on this day was Wrexham. I think they probably were still at Wrexham on correct prices:).

Unexpectedly - and I thought I'd find two of my stores (one where I originally found the pink salmon at 40p and another that still had 40p last time but no stock) to now have no trace and be left with my third store that had £1.50 last time - instead although I found both previous 40p stores now no trace, I found last time's "£1.50" was now displaying "40p Reduced to clear".

However, I'm not sure about this because the yellow offer label had that price, however underneath it, they'd still got the old white price ticket with £1.50 on it - I think APG collectors take from the white tickets underneath (even if they aren't visible when the offer label is on top of them). We'd need the price ticket, which I have the impression it's scannable (has the barcode on it - although that may be wrong as barcodes don't give any price information), to say 40p which I notice other stores have done (and some have without putting offer labels on top of them). I'm therefore not sure whether I'd be 40p or still £1.50 on the pink salmon - probably £1.50:(.

(It has happened before. I bought some Bin cleaner years ago - offer labels in my Ms were showing half price. APG got full price:(. I contacted them about it - my impression is that they get prices from white price tickets - these were still showing full price in my Ms too. I think those bin cleaners would have worked on a later offer period, when Ms were then showing half price on the white labels.)

I found red salmon on Wednesday - now four units of stock instead of two:huh: (same store as before, then on Monday in addition to Wrexham) but sadly no SEL. It seems useless to me from Wrexham as there are no SELs on either Princes Pink or Red. Or on the Disney Flip Top Sipper that's 50p, which is also rather annoying.

I think the Baylis gift set may have been showing £2 several weeks back in M Wrexham when I bought it from A and got that result return on the APG:(. It looks like it's now cleared out of several other Ms (though items seem to appear in different ones at different times) and although I do have it in one other store physically (no SEL) and another still has a SEL (now no stock), I suspect the reason it's now at Wrexham, which it certainly was on Monday, now some time after it became £1, is because Wrexham was slow in changing its offer label to £1:(. So it might work now, against £1, although I'm not sure if they would pick up that offer label (there is no "SEL" - i.e. white price ticket, or price ticket of any colour (colour doesn't matter lol:rotfl:) - underneath).
