Savvy the sels for the Princes salmon had been removed from Wrexham when I looked on Sunday afternoon and there was no stock of either pink or red and the spaces had been filled with M's own brand tins. They must have restocked after closing on Sunday and there was still stock of both pink and red there this morning but still no sel's. hth

Thanks for this - I did see your post earlier but only just catching up with it.

Unless they have a 50p SEL for Red Salmon elsewhere, I think Red Salmon won't work. There seem to be so few Ms with it anyway that it think it's unlikely to pick up a price for M. I think we need to be watching Wrexham every Monday and Wednesday to see if they ever put a 50p SEL on the shelf.

Given that Pink Salmon failed the time before, I think that's unlikely to work and there is no SEL in Wrexham. Nonetheless, one of my £1.50 stores has - sort of - gone to 40p so I think that's the end of Pink Salmon being found in that store for much longer:( - they could have 40p now on the APG but just depends what their stores have done.

If we are now homing in on Wrexham, I think there may be a good chance of the Princes Mackerel Fillets in Tomato Sauce and the Princes Tuna Mayonnaise Sweetcorn each picking up 25p M on the APG. If so, this will be shortlived as I think they will likely sell out from Wrexham by next week - it may continue a little longer if they then have 25p SELs and no stock on the shelf on Monday (M Wrexham) but will end, from this store at least, if they have removed the SELs (unless some other M that the APG uses has belatedly by then gone to 25p on its SEL - and that could be on the same or different version(s) of the Mackerel Fillets).

Does anyone want to try Mackerel in Tomato Sauce and Tuna Mayonnaise to see if they pick up 25p?

I think the Mackerel in Tomato Sauce depends on whether you think stock and therefore the 25p SEL would still have been there by Wednesday - there were about 7 tins of the Mackerel remaining on Monday late afternoon so maybe they would have still have some in stock even though they showed 25p? Fingers crossed.

No other version of Mackerel Fillets though - as Wrexham had none of those and the APG would have to pick those up from elsewhere. There's a possibility that the Curry Sauce version may be around a little more in M - although that's just stores I've visited so it may be completely wrong and many Ms don't have anything at all now - there are a few stores with nasty £1.37 SEL for that though (and possibly some with that for other versions of Princes Mackerel Fillets) although to be fair I'm not seeing many that do have that wrong price so it may be good (on the Tomato Sauce version - if they have to rely on elsewhere than Wrexham for the rest, I think it quite likely they could draw a complete blank on them in their check Ms so they will all most likely be N/A now).

Tuna Sweetcorn Mayonnaise was showing 25p in Wrexham, at least on Monday:):T. I think it may have been likely to have lasted into Wednesday, which is the APG's second check day. There are however stores, also with stock, around with incorrect £1 SEL. I have seen more than one. Hopefully they will either find only one such store (and have 25p from Wrexham so go with 25p) or else the product will be completely absent from other stores.

If my theory about Wrexham is correct, I think these two products (Mackerel in Tomato and Tuna Mayonnaise Sweetcorn) stand a good chance of comparing correctly. I won't start talking about excellent chances anymore:rotfl:.

I think Party Hot Dogs will likely be £1:( or N/A:( (not sure whether they would pick up a price from the RTC shelf). I'm now N/A, fwiw, on the Party Hot Dogs (from my different set of stores on Wednesday) because, although I found stock in one store, it had no SEL and I had nothing at all elsewhere. I continue to be £1 now only on the Premium version as I still have a store with stock (not necessarily needed), albeit now much diminished stock of a few dented cans, that shows £1. (I think people there may have cottoned on to them being 25p or else have been more likely to buy them because of, in that store, the big "Reduced to clear" label and the fact that they are in a container in the aisle, that people just conveniently take out of:(. My other store, which I didn't check this time, had lots still on the shelf earlier in the week - but no attention there was being drawn to the hot dogs at all as it just had £1 price label on the shelf and other Ye Olde Oak hot dogs on M's 66p offer in the same shelving. So people are picking some of those up at 66p unaware that some of the other "£1" ones are 25p. I don't know whether to laugh or frown... at least those of us here aren't making this mistake:D.) I thought all the versions of really 25p Hot Dogs were likely to pick up 25p on the APG around two weeks ago and did mention it - however I think they are now extremely likely indeed to be N/A or to have particularly incorrect £1 price.

Although I'm changing my sets of stores each time, and therefore my results I think are being even more erratic and variable from one set to the next, I think this does show how samples of Ms will likely result in incorrect prices or N/As. I'm particularly N/A on a lot of things now - that I know M stocks elsewhere (or indeed I have stock but no SELs). Or else I have a few incorrect prices from stores that still have the products.

I think the Mackerel in Tomato Sauce and Tuna Mayonnaise might stand a chance.
