A question pretty please. I am looking for dinner suggestions for Sunday night in Windermere which won't bankrupt us - who has been to Windermere recently and has any ideas?
Yes I know its mad, start of the tourist season, heaving with people ...

I've looked at the tripadvisor budget suggestions and there seems to be a nice looking Italian but I don't think it has a website. Otherwise it might be a case of walking about and examine menu boards and looking for somewhere less busy.

We are staying near Windermere on Sunday and then on Monday we are going to the Lakeside distillery, about an hour or so further north and then staying at the nearby Best Western close by so it's going to be even more difficult to find a cheap place for Monday night dinner - both hotels have over priced dinners so we won't be eating in.

And not a chain resturant anywhere close by ...

Well I've just sampled my first peperami with the what tastes like bread round it and I have to say the pepperoni s nice reminds me of a hot dog. Think I'd rather them without the pastry stuff but don't think I ll be in any rush to buy them :)
