Di, just jogged my memory. Did I see that you were up and about at 3am or thereabouts? I couldn't sleep and had been trying to play candy for a little while :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

OMG! altojack  poor you :( they should have definitely asked if you minded a trainee doing the op :( i know they all have to learn but still if you are awake & can hear things like that they think they've done it wrong during the op you'd rather have someone who's done it before! hope you are recovering well xx
i found out a couple of weeks ago that i've got to have both my big toe nails removed & a chemical applied to thenail bed to stop them growing back  the nurse said that my big toes will look like something out of a cartoon when i first have it done :rotfl: but still not looking forward to it & hope i can't see what they are doing when they remove the nails :o

Thank you LEJC, I'm pleased to be back, though it is just fleeting. The surgery is all done thank heavens the most  thing I have gone through but I'm ok ish now X

Eye sight is very precious....and thankfully the surgery I had a few years back was done under a general so I wasn't aware of it but I am quite squeamish with eyes....especially when the surgeon decided to give me a step by step description of the procedure afterwards.

Sometimes its the smaller maybe routine operations that actually cause the most discomfort or maybe its just the thought of someone messing with your eyes!!!

I remember having my wisdom teeth out years ago and it still ranks as one of my most unpleasant experiences

  • Afternoon all,
I am going to try to give up smoking, only smoke around 10 a day but that's 10 too many, lol. I want to buy an e cig, i've looked around but there are so many i don't know which one to buy.
I've bookmarked the page for the onepoundliquids that Bubbs and a few others here have recommended but no idea which e cig to buy to go with the liquids.
Can anyone recommend a good one please?

    Thanks

Thank you cheer1eader, it was quite traumatic I must say  but what's this, both your big toe nails to be removed? Why is that? Or shouldn't I ask, sorry, don't answer that one :o. I would imagine they will have dressings on them so you won't see a thing xx

Thanks PD, if it hadn't been because I was at risk of glaucoma and blindness I wouldn't of being having them done as my vision was very clear :). None of the hazy vision or greying misty eyes. I'll get there though X
