Update from Juju :T:T:T:T
The china is now approaching the Daresbury area on the M56:“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
Not not quite:rotfl: - the products in the 2 for £2 chilled offer at M - Nestle Desserts, Philadelphia, Bernard's Matthews Chunks, Alpro Almond Milk, Rustlers that A doesn't have... - are not clear in Wrexham M. Based on that store, you may have a mix and match between the Nestle Desserts but not between the Nestles and other items. I don't even think some of them such as Philadelphia are even showing any mbuy on the shelf - I will check to see if I have written anything down about that. They are in different parts of the store. However, there are other Ms which do have a full list of the mix and match items showing. Whether the price collectors, who see that, would go to the trouble of chasing around different parts of a store to put them all into the same offer, I do not know but I think they should.
If you were shopping in M Wrexham, and didn't already have the information, you might not even know there was an offer on some of them yet alone what other different item you can mix and match it with. There was also a conflict yesterday between the individual prices of two of the Rustler's items in different parts of the store. However, they are not sold by A and are only potential - and not very good IMO - TBG items so it's not really an issue. They still have individual prices (one of them at least incorrect) of £1 showing in one place. But the correct higher individual price and the 2 for £2 elsewhere. I think they've left the £1s showing because the store has no stock in that place. The stock is in a slightly different other place in the store and with clear higher individual price (£1.85 on one) and 2 for £2 showing.
It may also be a problem if there is a mix and match at a store that includes an item that that store does not have. They're checking different stores and getting prices from elsewhere. So they may work. But if there is one absent from one (or more) of the stores, that means N/A on that item and a return of full price on a mix and match with that item from that store. If more stores then have that situation, on the same item absent, that it may increase the chances of full price contributions and overall they may outweigh the mbuy pricing in the system. If indeed it works like this.
Most stores seem to have full lines (I'm not even sure now:rotfl:). However, there can sometimes be some item missing from a store, although you'd hope they'd have that in some other stores - it can sometimes be a different item missing in a different store - so overall should be okay if it's just a missing one for one store and a, different, missing one for another - however if you have a version only in one store that doesn't stock another and there's a mix and match in M across them all, it may not pick up the mbuy, because one's only in one of the check stores that doesn't have the item and can't mix and match with it, and the item in the other store doesn't have the other items to go with that on mix and match. However, in some stores there are offer labels that mention specific products included in the offer (presumably the full range) even if one, or some, of them is not in that store at all - I pick up the items from the indication that they do exist, even if I can't physically find them or a SEL, however I do not know whether the APG would work like that (I suspect not). Of course there is no problem for me if I come across the item mentioned, but missing in that store, in another store which, to be fair, even on a small set, I usually do. The smaller the set though the less chance of hitting a store with the 'absent' (physically) item or specific individual SEL for it - TBG IMO in particular is a small set.0 -
Good afternoon...Its a fantastic day...Been in the garden...lawns cut and a bit of tidying up...just realised I forgot to have breakfast this morning...Quick catch up with two tuna/mayo/tomato mixed with vinegar/pepper rolls and a cuppa just to tide me over until tea time...

can someone fill me in please, very confused ?? !!
Rhosynbach's daugher is getting married, the company booked to cater the wedding have gone bust. The elite are donating vintage crockery for the wedding. Juju is going to Wales and volunteered to take crockery contributions and deliver them to Rhosy.
The map is the progress of juju's trip.:)0 -

A consignment of china from Silvercar and Hornetgirl and Juju left South Mimms this morning to go to Rhosy in N Wales.
Juju's OH is driving, and Juju is sending me updates so I'm posting minimaps of where they are now (it was Silvercar's idea, wishing we had an app to see today's progress.)
The interactive map is an overview of the entire progress to now.

Really these are all issues that M in Wrexham ought to address:rotfl:.
I could go into any store and immediately tell them exactly which price labels need to be amended or offer labels put on or removed or not. I would be very useful to have. Nonetheless, of course, I don't bother do anything about it.
Fwiw, I won't be checking Wrexham on Wednesday but will be (most probably) checking a few (only two or three) other stores (back to the usual fully adequate price collection again:rotfl:) and so I won't know changes have happened in that store on that day. But if someone can have a look at the Princes salmons and whether or not they have got correct price on the SEL on Wednesday in Wrexham, I'd be very grateful. (Not that it will tell us anything but...:rotfl:.) And if you can (zzzzzz....I'm know I'm past the point of going on:rotfl:) have a quick look every future Monday and Wednesday - I know it's a pain - then we could, just could, identify when all of us can buy particularly Red Salmon (many of us that have it in no M anywhere near us and just can't in practice find it) and get a correct comp. I suspect stock of the product will :(vanish without trace and never have a correct SEL on on a Monday or Wednesday. You know that it will be the one Wednesday (or Monday) that you don't check that they will have a correct SEL on it:rotfl:.
The item could suddenly go from N/A to 50p (if Wrexham ever gets round to having that on a Monday or Wednesday) as M there will immediately come into stock with a price that can be obtained. I suggest that if that situation in M Wrexham ever transpires and gets spotted, that again, a single person just tests a single purchase or attempted purchase and if we all go suddenly "Ah!" and (somehow:rotfl:) have the 50p come back, then we can all be very happy indeed (at least for... two days:( if it is from a Monday collection - I hope they put that SEL up tomorrow - I won't be able to check - I hope the collectors are in Wrexham - and I hope it then works fully from Thursday and well into the start of next week, even if by then M generally has even further diminished stock).0 -
