Although m.com and msm are now showing 6 for £3 on the Muller Corners, I haven't seen any evidence of this in M instore. My stores are showing "8 for £2 until 1st May". They've not been working on the APG - I do not expect them to - and they won't compare against 6 for £3 if their Ms are not displaying that but are showing 8 for £2.

!! Glitch alert on Caffeine Free Coke Cans !!

I just checked my muggle shop from this morning, 11:35am. Look at this:

    AvM
    2x Diet Coke Caffeine Free Cans (8X330) £5.00 £2.00

I can only assume it's wrongly comparing to Caffeine Free BOTTLES which are 2-for-£2

No guarantees it's still working, but if so, buy in 2's and it works out £1.80 for 2 packs (instead of £5 at most supermarkets).

    Here's my full APG:

8 items (6 different) on your receipt qualify for comparison Asda Morrisons
    1x Strongbow Cloudy Apple Cider (500) £1.25 £1.25
    1x Nestle Coco Shreddies (750G) £2.00 N/A
    1x ASDA Deli Yorkshire Ham (133G) £2.00 N/A
1x ASDA Chosen by You Chicken Prawn & Chorizo Paella (400G) £2.80 N/A
    1x ASDA King Prawn & Chicken Paella (410G) £2.80 £2.16
    2x Pepsi Max Cans (8X330) £4.00 £4.00
    1x Warburtons 6 Plain Bagel Thins (6PK) £1.00 £1.00
    2x Diet Coke Caffeine Free Cans (8X330) £5.00 £2.00
    1x ASDA Malted Wheaties (750G) £1.20 £1.32
Comparison total (compared products only) £15.25 £11.73

I haven't found the item in M that this is comparing against. Maybe it is not in the Ms that I have checked for it now. I've already added this to my list: it is an excellent find and I hope it keeps comparing against £2.16 for M (or goes even cheaper in M and picks that cheaper price up:D). I have Chicken & Chorizo Paella (not the version with Prawn that you bought but the one at £2.60 in A) - and incidentally I found that in advance of you posting even this:p() - I don't know whether the APG has that although in my view it should - and I don't know whether this King Prawn version is linked up with that (in which case maybe the right Chicken & Chorizo isn't linked up and would be N/A:() or whether it is comparing against the King Prawn Leguine 350g in M (but then it should not as that is out of weight, though I make no complaint if it is:D) which is £2.17 and 3 for £6 in M (according to the three SELs I've seen each in separate Ms) - you can be assured I'm trying to find every possible item in M which should be compared against!

If anyone has worked out which item in M this is comparing to, can you let me know:o, as I don't know!:o:o:eek::rotfl: TIA.

I note my sig. still refers to clearance items in York on Friday and that may become out of date and I'll remove it.

If I was using my three stores for TBG and APG yesterday, then I now found three items with 10p SELs (although obviously completely OOS) in one of the stores - this is one where they were there last week without SELs - however two of them are neither stocked in A nor T. The remaining one is stocked in T - the Fox's Football Rings - but the offer label sadly says clear "10p reduced to clear" so I was TBG I would not compare against that.

I did find other items in the store which are items stocked in A, including an item that wasn't there at all last time:eek: - it's just all of a sudden appeared - however, none of these items had SELs so I'd be unable to compare against any of them either:rotfl::rotfl:.

I've had a small number of stores bring out, all of a sudden, some McVities Deli Choc biscuits (of which they appeared to be totally absent before) and put them into a box with Milk Chocolate version, which isn't RTC, in them too - in my case it's generally been the Dark Chocolate version on 10p. They just have SELs for the now (apparently:laugh:) £1.77 Milk Chocolate and none at all for the 10p versions. I am sure the shelves would be totally stripped bare of them within hours if they did display the price. Of course they are 10p as I bought another one:eek: - or at least I can confirm Dark Chocolate - I'm sure White Chocolate (which I only found a few days ago:o - and therefore didn't have firmly at 10p as I couldn't find it before - although I did surmise that M might be 10p) is still 10p somewhere.

However this is another N/A return from me as, on White Chocolate, I am totally absent today and, on Dark Chocolate, there's no SEL so I believe that that could not contribute a price from this store (which won't be a collection store) to the APG - if similar situations exist in M, this is likely to suggest an N/A as the most likely result. So, buy in M, where you can, at 10p. I did pick up a Dark Chocolate price the other week but it was incorrect SEL 44p. I suspect it's pretty rare to stumble across a 10p SEL and, although I did have three in one store today, they were all on non-APG items and of course there was now no stock left, so in any event I don't hold out hope for SELs remaining up for too long. Although, maybe they will have an errant one somewhere that holds out for 7 days:think:. I doubt it - it's another 10p SEL being spotted again but it's rare on my visits of six - probably less than a quarter of the time I might come across a 10p SEL - they just had obviously put three up in this one store yesterday (or the weekend perhaps) and it was now all OOS. I've only ever come across a 10p with stock on one occasion - that didn't last for more than 4 hours, because I happened to revisit the store later that day (when I thought I hadn't bought enough of the incorrect 50p SEL item on the other shelf in that store). I've bought only a single item in that situation - and every one of the other 10p items I've had has been on a wrong or an absent SEL. That's I suspect largely the only Ms that have stock - other than for a blip of a few hours - though, if you've had no luck, do keep trying whenever you are already there as they may bring out some stock from the back every so often.

I've had Dark Chocolate Deli appear in two separate stores on Monday which had been completely absent of it before for me. M clearly have stock left but sadly for APG purposes - though the thing also is that the M price is so low that the 10% of that is virtually worthless anyway - just 1p - so they are 'buys in M' - if there's any stock it's often without a SEL or with an incorrect one and the 10p SELs are not as often for me and are random, so that on my pretend APG, you wouldn't be able to predict which, if any, item I'd got this time.

So, I'm N/A for TBG on the Party Footballs since they are marked RTC and therefore they don't compare. It's the same situation as last time when they had no SEL though, as still non-compare.

I'm N/A on Dark Chocolate Deli biscuits even though I've found a store with stock because there isn't a SEL to pick up a price.

I'm N/A on White Chocolate because my set of six stores - and I did check thoroughly all six for these items - had, well, no important SEL really but fwiw I found no stock either.

And I also found Go Ahead! Orange Slices in just one out of the six stores, normally I would go N/A on these and in fact did so last time, from the same store, as I didn't find a SEL. However, I notice a new offer label has been put up on the shelf - and it reads "Go Ahead! Fruit Slices 218g £1 any 3 for £2". Of course this relates to the other Go Ahead! slices that are not the RTC orange product but are the ones on the worse offer - which presumably people will buy as they don't realise the Orange, unmarked, are 10p. This offer label is in two places - on the shelf and also an offer label which reads the same on a container of Go Aheads. The wording "Fruit" slices seems to me to encompass Orange, which I don't have a price for from any other SEL, and the Orange Slices that I have on the system for A are 218g so I'll pick up this pricing and compare the Go Ahead! Orange Slices for you to £1 and any 3 for £2:rotfl:.

It is, perhaps, a similar situation with the Hartley's Jellies in some Ms - where it's not clear which ones two different offers are referring to. I suspect ones on 4 for £1 got put into 5 for £2 last time. (Again, it depends on which stores - since other stores, which have updated their SELs, are to me clear. And that's without knowing what is in the offers. But I have come across some - not a majority for me now but some - that are showing what seems to be older wording but have probably not removed that since both sets of offer labels, confusing in conjunction with each other, are marked as "until 1st May" - so the staff of that M think they are still valid and aren't removing them.) Of course, a price collector would not know that the Go Ahead Orange Slices are 10p and they could pick up erroneous pricing like that. It's just random - this one depended on the wording showing in one store. That happened to have the Orange version - and, as a good price collector, I noticed it and the SEL. Much more likely is a complete no trace - this is the only store in which I have Go Ahead Orange and to be honest now I've seen probably three with the actual product in (out of probably 30 in the last two weeks), so most of the time six stores gives nothing at all. But, if it's one in ten stores, suggests about 50 stores still have them in the country.

And, of course, others could bring them out at any time. Though to be honest I've not seen these suddenly appearing - but I could have been there at 'the wrong time'.

    Bird's Ready to Eat Rum Sauce 500g - 17p RTC in M.

However, the vast majority of you won't have this in your M, I suspect, as it's in just one store (out of 80) for me. I took me some time to find the item in M again - even though it was on my list for ages before I found it at 50p as of course I never deleted anything off there:rotfl:. It is also a very chance find - as I just happened to be in the right M yesterday. 50p was the lowest price that most people got, but now it's gone even cheaper in the "only" store that still has them. I'm sure it will be more than one, if it is very few.

I also assume that Bird's Brandy Sauce will now have gone to 17p as well (am I right?:D Is it your M?:D:D) even though I have been unable to find those anywhere so far, after they disappeared on me after the end of last year.

I also notice I'm justified never to have removed M's own label (frozen) Cheese Straws at 50p (assuming I now trust that SEL) from my list despite them disappearing from all my local stores months ago and only occasionally being found elsewhere by me. You still have them in Wrexham yesterday.

But I was wrong on one thing:eek: - and my list is incomplete - shock, horror!! I removed the Iglotex products at £1.24 (which made my guide price) from my list after they vanished entirely from one of my stores and I thought the offer was about to end around then anyway so deleted them all off! I've now refound, in Wrexham, the Iglotex again - even though it is just one version, the Plum version, and, although the SEL has £1.38, they are in fact £1.24. So, they should never have been removed and clearly they are in M and still on the offer (unmarked in the only store in which I have found them now) so they will be going back. I will put the Plum Dumplings back onto there. Does anyone remember what the other ones were?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Again, another one - not the same store for me as the Rum Sauce - but found elsewhere. This is another one that has now gone even cheaper in the (it seems few) Ms in which it did not sell out:

    M Bicz (200g) 18p

I actually managed to purchase one of these on (fairly) shortdate at 9p, so it is paying a little bit more than that. It's my alternative for Ritz Crackers and it's now, on non-whoops stock, much cheaper - although sadly there isn't a Cheese version (not to my knowledge anyway:rotfl:). Or if there is such a product it hasn't gone to a good price that I've seen.

The M Bicz, on this RTC, are now certainly a lot better than those expensive Cheddar Cheese Biscuits packs.

So, it's Ritz, in effect - pretend - although it's only the Original version and not the Cheese ones.

And the Pocket Calculator that was on RTC 50p has gone down to 13p. It's actually gone good enough now that I bought one. In fact I bought two - because it has a battery and I figured that buying a replacement battery when needed would cost much more than 13p. Although maybe it won't last any longer:think:.

It's only the one that was on RTC (BC 5 010251 441809) - I suspect many people won't have this (probably half of Ms - maybe slightly fewer?). The other calculator, that apparently was never RTC and is on a different barcode - is still 75p.

However, it seems that, in at least one store, even M staff have got confused between "Morrisons Pocket Calculator" and "Morrisons Pocket Calculator":D. (I don't think I've seen the two different versions in the same store. The description on the SELs in different stores, that stock different versions, is the same. As if they ever would try to confuse and think I would not notice the difference...) The 13p price on the RTC version, which is still available in some Ms, has caused one store (at least) to change the SEL to 13p on the non-RTC Pocket Calculator that it stocks - they've changed it from 75p to 13p - and when I scanned that Calculator in that store, of course it scanned at 75p. So, there may be an opportunity for 13p, as that's what the SEL says it should be, even though you only have the non-RTC version available to you (the one that isn't on the above barcode).

It's hit and miss as to whether you have one or the other. They are normally in the stationery but, in my store that had the RTC version, that does scan at 13p, it had been moved to a reduced section. However, if you have the 75p version, it won't be every store in which you could get 13p: I had another store, that has the non-RTC 75p version that has, correctly, not changed its SEL but has kept it at 75p:(. (But watch out, in case they change it in error at some time;).)

I didn't in fact need to do the 75p - SELs says it's 13p - as I bought the RTC version beforehand in the store which had the RTC:cool:.

There may also be a version of M 2-pack Clear Tape (sellotape) around at 21p. I had SELs for both prices:huh: in one of the stores - and with the same description although with a different seeming reference number or something on the SEL - the only version in the store though scanned at £1. Perhaps someone has a 21p 2-pack Clear Tape somewhere in their M on a different BC. So there we are - another product that I haven't seen in M, because I haven't been to the right stores:rotfl: but whose possible existence I am implying from information elsewhere!

I can't give you the BC sorry as I have not yet found stock of the product that might be 21p.

There's also some World Book Day legacy books that are cheaper price in one other M for me than I found them at in another the earlier day.

I think the various Threads (knitting stuff) have gone down from £1 to 86p in M as well. :eek:I have them on my list at £1! I think anyway - I now have a conflicting price situation - one store says 86p and two others £1:rotfl:.

I'm still not happy with the number of stores not displaying the 2 for £3 offer on the 4 pack own brand frozen pies. I came across a further, new store on Monday with no mbuy on the display. I do not think APG will pick that offer up in the situation I am seeing, even assuming that it picks all the products up at all (and I think it either missed at least one about a month ago - returned N/A - or else they must see the M item as non-comparable to their A one). I think the offer is on, and I'm assuming it still is. I checked last week, in a store without the mbuy on the display and, surprise, surprise, they were 2 for £3. So, despite having 2 against 1 on Monday - 2 stores with no mbuy on the shelf and 1 showing it, I think they are on mbuy. I will find out on Wednesday when I check at the SS again to see if they still are (I can't trust what I'm told at the tills - I was told the Lotus Biscoff was £1 - one store, worryingly Wrexham:eek:, had £1 on the SEL but I checked them again in another store, this time on SS, and they scanned at 80p. So they are 80p, as per the offer labels in, to be fair, most stores for me. I was also nearly told by one SA that the Soreen individual snack pack was 60p - before they corrected themselves to 55p. Almost looking at the wrong thing and giving me the wrong price. So, I cannot trust it. I've had a small number of stores showing 60p for those, but they are 55p. Obviously too many stores at 60p this time so I had to check (sigh!)).

They also, in some stores, are clearly not paying attention. I've had at least three over the last month showing £6 SELs for Thornton's Milk Chocolate Collection (274g), though every time I have checked at the till (now at least four times) it has always been £3. One store was even showing £5 offer label for some time. Now I have one that isn't even correct and has put up two labels of £6 for Thornton's Classic Collection 274g [my emphasis] and put one of them under the Milk Chocolate stock. It's not Thornton's Classic Collection (274g) - it's Thornton's Milk Chocolate Classic Collection (274g) - pay attention to the wording and print off the correct SEL!:mad::p:rotfl: It's only fortunate that this product, although stocked in A is not showing on a.com, and therefore it isn't a goer on the APG anyway. Besides, I've seen cheaper store-specific RTCs than the £3 price.

I've also lost the mbuy on the SEL on the M Milk Chocolate Digestives - they are 2 for £1 (that has been scanned and checked at till) but SELs in stores just saying 60p. And the Pedigree pet food individual cans are still 2 for £1 (no mbuy in my stores today - I knew the last one wouldn't have the mbuy anyway, as it didn't last time, neither did a further store - had I gone to my planned store I would probably have it at there though). The individual cans of own label cat food - ocean fish was one - that were supposedly 41p RTC in some stores and 2 for 80p in others - I just had straight 54p(?) price today - but they scanned at 2 for 80p. I wonder if people thinking they are RTC buy one at 41p and don't realise that there is the mbuy. Or maybe it scans at 54p even though, in some Ms (about half?), it says 41p. However, the Top Life cat and dog milks are off. The cat is anyway - I couldn't scan the dog as well unfortunately. After seeing constant no mbuy in stores, I didn't trust that SEL - and I checked, but the Top Life Cat at least now came back full price, so the mbuy has ended and the SELs are correct and, because the Top Life Dog Milk also has the mbuy labelling taken away in all my stores, I assume that those are no longer on mbuy as well. So, they've gone up in price (if buying the former mbuy number) and will be removed soon!

I suspect that, if we looked into it, every major supermarket, not just M, would have a similar situation throughout its stores. It is only because prices are being checked in M.

I have to admit that I am also not sure whether or not the Frugo Drinks that have been 3 for £1 are still on that offer - I popped into my first one, where I otherwise just did the Princes, Hot Dogs and Biscuits check, and had a look at that - I saw the mbuy on their shelf there - because I knew that all subsequent stores would either not have the product or if they did would not be showing any offer, even if there is one, on their shelves. So, I think on the basis of my first store, it is on (although there is no expiry date given so I cannot be sure the store has not failed to take it down on what may be the first date on which the offer has expired) though I really don't know:rotfl:. Maybe msm will provide the answer:D - or perhaps it won't. Of course, I bet someone will have an M with the offer on the shelf a clear expiry date that has not yet expired and just be able to pop into there and will see it everytime and be wondering why I'm having all this seeming difficulty:rotfl::rotfl:. They are on 10p more points offer though. I think. If I can trust the SEL without mbuy that may or may not be right:rotfl:.
