Well an example. I was with an elderly person, and twice someone offered to carry their bags up the stairs of the tube station (and didnt even run off with them afterwards)TrulyMadly wrote: »My stash is looking decidedly healthier after this weekend:)
Someone ......I will mention no names DM........must have got there before me as all the tins were mixed up and I nearly bought 11 of one type. There would have had to be an inquest:o:rotfl:

Evening,
I have a confession:o
In morrisons today found a fair few pink salmon tins, sel 40p, went to self service, 1st tin scanned £2.97-£1.97  put in bag, head tries to work it out, scanning 2nd tin same thing. So I called Sa told her there on shelf for 40p but there working out at a £1!!
She goes off checks shelf comes back with little white ticket, and says you will have to go to normal till, can't reduce things hear. Moves me over and manually reduces all the tins.
When I got in the car I phoned kurly~kale and told her to check her receipt from yesterday as mine went through at the wrong price.
Chatting away about these tins of salmon, only to realise Id got John west:o oops

We currently control the ports... at calais we have a checkpoint there. if we leave the eu, it's likely that france will kick us out.
if they do, migrants, immagrants, refugees etc can all come over and once they are in the UK, they are no longer France's problem. You think they will still stop them entering? Doubtful if they can get rid of the problem.0 -

France has facilitated this farce for many years, the only immigration measures are what we have implemented. Whilst we may not be allowed to do this on French soil, we can and should implement a robust immigration policy on the ships. The power of push/pull needs to be addressed as this places people at risk of harm and suffering, but we have moral duty to help people in need (I actually agree with Cameron that we should offer asylum to people in camps... but I would rake the most vulnerable people rather than the strongest).100
