Afternoon, back from t's and they had reduced the £4 cheese selection box to £1.80 then as I was passing again it was down to 60p so was lucky enough to get 4:j
Some RTC's I noticed: Ye Old Oak mini party dogs 560g - 84p,
    Weight watchers penne pasta & spaghetti 500g - 30p,
McIlhenny co. Tabasco marinade, fruit & fiery habanero - 57p, Encona Brazilian BBQ sauce - 37p,
Ocean Spray, Cranberry Apple Sauce - 37p
    Frenches Yellow Spicy mstard 226g - 40

18 asparagus spears showing now. Potatoes just peaking through, loads of broccoli to eat.
Had a massive free delivery of wood chip yesterday for the paths:j

please can I ask what price you have paid for wood chip?

do you put liner on your paths first and then wood chip on top?

OH wants some wood chip but I've not done the price research yet - I've only seen the 50 litre bags in Morribobs for £5.
OH has made a border around the bottom paddock over the last couple of years - the soil is dreadful stuff, water logged clay mud in the winter and baked hard in the summer. Some of it he put a liner on top and then wood chip but then he gave up and just put wood chip down because he thinks wood chip is the cure all to suffocate all weeds - even though the weeds eventually find their way through as is happening now .
it is constantly trying to revert back to being a field so weeds are everywhere but OH literally cant see them so its no use me telling him to weed as I would need to point out each one to him.

so I put some yellow polyanthus in down their today and moved some daffodils (with gravel underneath so they are not sitting in water) strangely OH will say its too wet to do any weeding down there - but I've done planting and its not too wet to plant ..

I am trying to get OH to take responsibility for this bit of the garden so he can put his own mark and creative touches but he prefers the manly tasks of lawn cutting and tree trimming etc ..

Helans post indicated that they were 2 for £6 (I am not sure what size).

In my shop, they only had 100g, and these were £3 each.

    I bought 2.. just in case! x

OH thinks he is being spoilt (last week he got Aldi's own brand!)

What do you think I have a hand held blender for :D

In fairness though the best thing I ever bought for gravy was an automatic stirrer, my gravy has never been so good :D

:rotfl: Just conflicting results, but it's no good anyway. I'm still on last Wednesday on this, so prices may have changed online for new instore M price tomorrow. Msm has this going up, in what looks to be the last few days, from £1.50 to £1.54.

Savvy's instore price collection: £1.89:rotfl:. I suspect this was 2 for £3 but no mbuy offer label has been showing in the stores in which I've seen this product. However, it's no good as A, allegedly:laugh::D, is £1.

      £1.00

      £1.50

Where there is an mbuy price, which is cheaper than the individual price, I don't normally bother noting the individual price. I therefore would not have collected information about a (supposedly!) £1.89 price* if I was aware that the item was 2 for £3. Now I'm aware it is £1 elsewhere, I won't bother with a 2 for £3. Obviously, a potential "was £1 now any 2 for £3" situation.

*Can I trust that the individual price was even £1.89 as that SEL might have been wrong?

    :rotfl:

I'm not allowed to use the new hand blender.

I didn't know you can't use it for making dough, it went in through the cooling vents and then dried like rock :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

1/3 of the shopping bill is the threshold I think. Morrison's take up to £5 without authorisation.

I was referring to APG's. Asda staff hate any coupons. Always have, always will.

    Thanks for the information.

Part of my dislike is that we have to wait 3 hours to see if a glitch has worked. Can the glitches still stop working during the day sometimes if they update the systems, or is it pretty safe now to do for the whole day. Its been a while since I did a glitch shop, maybe I should try harder lol.

As per the alcopop glitch the other day, morrisons updates during the day so results could vary.

Depends on the type of glitch it is. There are three that I know of:

    Start of deal
    End of deal
    Missing multi

Missing multi applies to them all but the 3rd can happen because they just didn't update .com

it's all about watching the site and comparing with msm and a bit of guessing.
Glitches are easier to find now they stopped using msm I think.

If it glitches after around 10am, it is good for the day.
if it's vs m or w, on a tuesday or friday it wont work after 12. otherwise it's good until the next day. end of deal glitches are of course only good until midnight.
