The hotel was great value for money. It's the best western in Shap right off the beaten track so no shops nearby.:eek:
DBB was £34 each per night. The prawn starter was large enough to be a main course and the steam salmon last was perfect. Breakfast was good although they ran out of croissants and cheese. Lots of French bikers on tour.

We got 2 mini bottles of wine and a bag of twirls as a complementary
gift

Off home to celebrate DH birthday with some of the family. He has a minion cake. Reminded me of PD
