OK, so does anyone know of any available discounts for Hungry Horse through cards or RAC? I have just managed a £5 one but would love more.

I have just been looking at the route planner for our journey to Anglesey....I see we pass the following services, Toddington, Newport Pagnell, Watford Gap, Corley, Norton Canes, Keele, Stafford, sandbach, Lymm and Knutsford....obviously I dont want to stop at them all :rotfl: but we will need a quick leg stretch, so if anyone wants to meet at any of these to give me a parcel to pass onto Rhosy on their behalf, please pm me....I could possible meet half the elite on my journey, how lovely would that be :j :j

Juju, are you going M6? Norton Canes is on theM6 toll road, the services on the M6 are between j10a and 11, hilton services.

:hello:I've just been out to A (and M:D:o:rotfl: - so I'll mention more about that later).

:mad:It looks like A has put the individual price of the Tic Tacs down. They scanned at £1 in my A:(. So there will be no instore-shopping glitch from any store in which that has happened.

Regarding M, I've had a thought that perhaps before I tell you more, we can play a little game:D. Just for fun but there will be a way to announce a winner (or a tie between a number of people, all of whom will be deemed to have 'won'). First, I ought to reveal the answer to the little question from the other day, about the price that I found for the Tan Remover in M. It's £2.99 online for Superdrug and someone guessed (I assume) a price for M. However, I think most people will agree that their price was a bit too high and somewhat off the mark. The actual price I found in M is £1.58:).

Also, :idea:can anyone tell us whether M in Letchworth has a SEL for the Princes Red Salmon in the normal canned fish aisle - if it does, what price is showing please? Also is there anything in Morrisons in Leamington Spa, Coalville (Leics.), Kidderminster, Wrexham or Stewartfield?

I am sure that Letchworth either is a price collection store or certainly has been in the past, because in the past it has been mentioned in A's advertising in a footnote - which gave a Wednesday date on which the M price had been obtained and which surely would relate to the same data as the APG. At one stage, I thought that Wrexham was a price collection store too but later thought it wasn't after all (although the data that picked up something I could not find in Wrexham might have come from elsewhere).

I don't know whether Leamington would be used but maybe it would as it is known to be the biggest M. Stewartfield has been used before (mentioned in A's press advertising). I don't know about Coalville or Kidderminster but there is a possibility from what I've seen that these stores might be used and might be used by the APG more recently.

In fact, that would be six stores at 'random' - though I am sure they won't be using those precise six. Is there any luck with the Red Salmon, or any of the other items - people may find stock, most likely without a SEL - but we need SELs, in the normal aisles, and what the SEL prices are.

I can't guarantee we would be any closer to knowing what the APG might have found, if anything, yesterday but it was just my random idea.

As for the quiz, or potential for a quiz:D, I've just come back from a further M. And did I find the Princes Red Salmon, or indeed any of the other items, in there? What do you think?:rotfl: We could play a game of "Savvy's APG". I will use the results from my six most recent stores. So, if we were to pretend that I am the APG, would you buy the Princes Red Salmon? Would you go for it?:D Or do you think not?:(:):undecided: Do you trust me?:D:mad::undecided::question:.

Don't look at those symbols - there's no clue in them btw. What I'll do, I've got my information but won't reveal it just yet, I'll list the good items in M - the Princes fish and the 10p Biscuits etc. - and people can decide which ones of them to 'buy'. You can only buy items that I will list (I won't count anything else and neither will it count towards eight items). You can buy as many items as you wish and as many duplicates of any individual item as you like - however I will only count a maximum of 10 of any of the same item. You must buy at least 8 different items from the list, otherwise you will be disqualified. The winner - or if there's a tie, the winners - is the person who gets the highest 'APG'.

It's no good looking at my M list as that gives what I know or thought to be the case on Monday. I know that at least some of these items - maybe all of them, maybe not, who knows? - are 10p or 25p etc. in M. However, that is from my own knowledge or what I've been able to work out. I have items on my list even though I have not found them again. I will not be using that in the quiz. I will go entirely from the items for which I have seen a SEL in M in my most recent stores. If I found a SEL but no stock in a store, I will pick up the price for that store as long as I have seen at least some stock of the item in that M in the previous 7 days.

The pricing will be random and it is up to you to pick the items (I'll give the list soon) on which you think I have picked up 10p, 25p or 50p SELs (as the real prices in M) just from using the SELs in my six stores. There's no limit to how much you can spend for the 'shop' you do - the winner is the APG amount (and obviously higher priced items in A may be very good indeed - if I have picked up the right price for them) - however, for all you know, the winner could be someone who goes with lower A priced items because, hypothetically, it might be that I have only picked up good prices on those items and that I happen, randomly, to have found none of the higher A price items. I might have some of them but not others, or I might have none (I may have all of them, if you really trust me - you never know!). Obviously, I'm not revealing that - that is the game:rotfl:!:D List in my next post.
