I felt the vast majority of items from the last few days aren't on msm. Two examples will suffice, one not making it to the list and the other doing so:
Xpel Mosquito Bite & Sting Relief Roll-On (75ml)
£1.00 £1.33 / 100ml
---
---
---
---
---
Maped Study Compass
£2.00 £2.00 / Unit
---
---
---
---
So, if you have M available to you, I think, if you are using msm, you need to look for everything on the my M list as you won't know any of this from msm.
I also found something that was cheaper in Boots (I can't remember which item it is now) - M does have it, but it is at a higher price there so obviously you don't need to know about that. However, Boots is not always cheapest - another item I found to be significantly cheaper at M, yet again nothing on msm, and I've put it onto the list!
Finally, I need to add a bit onto the information that msm gives here:
Birds Eye Crispy Chicken Dippers (24 per pack - 440g)
£3.00 68.2p / 100g
[Strike]£3.00[/Strike]
£2.00

Birds Eye Crispy Chicken Dippers (24 per pack - 440g)
£3.00 68.2p / 100g
[Strike]£3.00[/Strike]
£2.00
82p
50p
50p
£3.24:eek::rotfl::rotfl::(
Nonetheless, we can hope that M's price on the 24 pack suddenly changes very favourably!:rotfl: So, not to forget about it by any means but does need an eye keeping on it constantly otherwise it will go really cheap at the very moment we stop looking at it.
I somehow managed to update what I needed to despite going out again for much of the day on Sunday. I ended up, at the end of Saturday, with just about the same as a heavy Monday price change day so, obviously, that was all doable in a day. I think the 2 for 70p biscuits are left as a 'special project' to go through and sort out later. I only have the Fig Rolls and Malted Milk now on the A list - after A (and M) seem to have gone out of the Hill's biscuits (that worked out better value than the own brand:mad:) and there's been changes in ranges and sizes - as well as flooding that may have taken stock away from some stores - that have seen the number of comparable apparently diminish. I'll have a look through, when I get the will to do the special project, to see if there are any more comparable from the range I've collected from M last time.
I also didn't bother with the individual beer/lager etc. cans (and a few bottles) in M, even though I have collected the information.
I've printed off my new M list, which now takes over 20 minutes, and it'll be fun trying to find any of the new items in my normal stores. I'll see what I come back with though - I just do things to my satisfaction nowadays - and I'll see you again after the price collection.
Bye for now:wave:.0 -
If anyone wants a Bubble Gun (it's a toy gun that blows bubbles - like Fairy liquid type things of out of those bubble pots), there may be a possibility of obtaining one for 50p in one M.
This is one I've otherwise missed. It was because I only first found it when the SEL in another store said 50p and the product there was totally OOS. However, a day later I found the SEL in another store - it had shot up (no pun probably!) to £3:eek: - and it scanned at £3 so I took it off the list:(.
The product is £3:eek::eek: - I have had the chance to check it again. There is a single one in stock yesterday, at M in Chapel-en-le-Frith. The SEL there says 50p. So, you would pay £3 in the first place but then would have to go to CS instore to sort out that the SEL said you should be paying 50p. No DTD from M sadly - but opportunity to get it, if you want it, assuming no-one else has done so before you, for the 50p. Maybe. Assuming CS will correct the payment of £3 for you.
It's possible that some other M that has it - I've only seen indication of the product - either SEL alone and no stock or stock of the product with or without SEL (the tricky one, I assure you, is lack of stock together with the absence of any SEL:rotfl:) - only seen any indication of the product in three Ms - but, as it has recently gone up (and, in this case, quite significantly:eek:), another M or other Ms somewhere may have an unchanged SEL.
Okay, having got you to go and buy a bubble gun you never needed and never knew about or ever needed before, it's goodnight again!:wave: I've been resisting the blasted thing I assure you:mad::rotfl::rotfl:! The temptation was there... shall I, shan't I? In the event, I managed to resist buying it:):rotfl::cool:.
They are usually with the gardening stuff that has gone well high priced nowadays! Saying that though, I managed to find the Westland Garden Hero trigger again in another store - and still priced at 48p.0 -
And, in case you are wondering this one, I didn't buy the store at Chapel out of all 10p biscuits/cookies/cereal bars etc. - as I didn't find any 10p biscuits etc. there at all. However, that does not mean that some could not suddenly:huh: appear there today:( and that, if that happens, and anyone else is lucky, that will be your gain:D;):).
I had I hit on one item - from out of 7 stores (6 of them with none of them at all in them) - and by pure fluke, it was the item that I originally went out hoping I could get more of. I wanted to find the Belvita Forest Fruit too but I didn't find it anywhere - I think the problem on those items is that they are on £1 offer price, so that people are likely to be buying them - especially now after a busy weekend - and, if someone did have the Forest Fruit and happened to buy it, I think it would likely become known in the store that it was 10p and would then soon vanish.
Oh, I nearly forgot - it seems to me that some items such as Princes Red Salmon may have been first and last chance on last Wednesday's data - though I don't even know whether that was picked up by the collectors or not - but, from today, indeed after a weekend, some of the really good-priced items seem to have been selling out (leaving stores with no evidence of products as SELs are then probably generally taken away) - some stores that I have visited before that had these products on Wednesday no longer seem to and I wasn't finding them as widespread now as I was mid-week. Maybe. They could still pick them up, from their several stores, assuming they did before - or might even use a store that only now has the items or which has, only now, put its SEL to the right price - perhaps having not altered it before and not noticed it until now. But, some of these RTCs, the Red Salmon, the Mackerels too - Sunflower Oil, but that's just for me and just so happens in the stores I've been in, seems to be around more than the others but even there it is diminishing I get the perception - they may be quickly gone soon and indeed one store I had has now moved the remaining stock of the Hot Dogs to the RTC shelf, so those may have gone by next time or very shortly (I don't know if they pick up SELs from RTC shelving - I would suspect not. They pick up RTCs (APG) but they are in general sheving. Different stores would have products in different places anyway, if they have them, and I think there isn't any point in trying to work out where they might be getting the prices are even if we ever could work it out which we couldn't).
The Pringles Original Tortilla was RTC a while back and it did work. However, maybe it's not as widespread now (but I keep seeing it because I am going to more stores). It's appeared and gone in some of them. I didn't find it out on Thursday at all (12/13 stores). It's gone from my local stores it seems. It moved from one to the other. I have found it again on Sunday, from 7 stores. (Found in one of the seven; the other six all no trace.) It has been moving around for me* - but the APG I suspect would not. I have lost the Walkers Mix Up Salty Popcorn now. It may turn up again - it's bound to be somewhere. But getting through about 17 stores without it (different ones, counted over the recent last week), may suggest it is in fewer stores than it was before and thus, if it was ever picked up before, may now stand less chance of doing so because it seems less likely that the APG collectors would be in a store that now has it (simply because, it seems, it may be in fewer stores. But then I don't know if the stores I happen to have been to are under-representative over it - except that it has been RTC for some time and would, I expect, have cleared from more, or maybe even most(?), stores now). I'm also having problems with the £1.38 Glades and the £1.94 Air Wick - I did see them earlier in the week, in one store, though I have not seen them in other stores now and I happened to revisit on Sunday the store that I found them in before and they are no longer there. They are going to be somewhere still - but, again, perhaps chances now are lower. The RTC items some of them are still found in a single store six months or more afterwards! Just depends what haphazardly sells in different stores I suppose and if they are marked etc. - e.g. they forget to put the offer label on, it may remain in stock!
*Obviously it has not literally done that - instead I suspect it has remained in some stores having gone out of others and brought out and been put onto the shelves at different times in different stores. Not vastly different times - it's all "around the same time" but obviously the precise minute and second of a precise day that a staff member stocks it in one store and another will be highly likely to be different!0 -
