For anyone missing out on Easter Eggs, Jack F seemed to have quite a few in stock - £1.37 from memory for Malteser and other Mars ones, maybe others.

It certainly was a beautiful morning FC and I was reasonably busy.:)
Then the clouds came and a few raindrops and the change was quite dramatic. The temperature dropped to 8 degrees and everyone vanished off the promenade.:(
I have thought long and hard over the last few weeks and have come to the conclusion, that this definitely will have to be my last year. Physically, I know that I will not be able to cope for much longer, doing 12 hour days, 7 days a week , which is what I work if the weather is good. I also know that hubby is fast approaching the stage, where he is going to need alot more help and care.:(:(
It will be a huge change for me after 22 years. I must be one of the few people who actually love going to work and I will miss it so much.
The one good thing though, is that I will be able to sort out my rather large garden, which hubby is no longer able to look after and I am looking forward to growing lots of veg.:)
Anyhow, today is a sparkling day, if somewhat chilly at the moment, (longjohns and thermal vest I think) so I should have a good day.:D
Plus all the glitch sharing and caring for hubby as well :A0 -
Confession time - I have been brave today ... I have actually thrown something away from my stash .
Okay, it was Diet Coke, and it was dated 2014. In my defence, it was behind some other items. I would probably have kept it and drunk it but as I have more recent items in stock and we don't get through it very quickly, then I decided it was time to make some space. It was free (or better than free) when bought, but I suppose I have been paying storage since then so it has probably cost me

I've seen how busy you are and I'm not surprised you will find it hard to give up. You must meet some amazing people. Not to mention you work in an amazingly beautiful place. You should be proud of your business though, you've done an amazing job at building it into what it is. It will be wrench for you to give it up but you can put that gusto into the next phase of your life. You are one of those people who will put your mind to whatever you do and make it successful.
I did come in to wish BQ a quick and hassle free visit to the hospital tomorrow. I hope you get taken early and get home early. Rest up for as long as you need to and I'm sure Mr BQ will look after you :A My big bug bear with day surgery was being last on the list and sharing a waiting room with a muncher  a woman who emptied the contents of a vending machine and ate it all in front of the poor starving people who were waiting on ops. I wanted to stuff her 5th bag of crisps up her left nostril:rotfl::rotfl:
If you can hobble to one of our local coffee shops during your recovery, I would be glad to meet up.
Back to school tomorrowthat went quickly. DS had a full hair and nail removal tonight and it was painful! Very painful.

This didn't work for me either. Went back to ASDA with my receipt and a print out of the 4 for £6 offer and explained that I had bought 4 of the chicken pieces and the offer hadn't worked. CS assistant gave me £4 refund. :j
Got home and made stir fry for lunch. Decided to chuck in a bag of Quorn Chicken Pieces and realised they were the Vegan variety!
Feel really guilty now.

I didn't bother going to CS as I'd used an APG for over £20 that needed an override and took ages. Quorn would have defrosted if I'd tried to get a refund.0 -

No need - I did that once. An honest mistake. I bought a different size of Domestos Bleach trigger in error - no wonder the mbuy didn't get charged - both me and the CS made the mistake of thinking I'd bought the one that was on the mbuy offer. They gave you the refund - you didn't deceive them, since you believed you'd bought the Chicken Style Pieces - it's their mistake if they didn't notice you hadn't bought the right products for the mbuy.0 -

M list has been updated an hour or so ago, ready for the prices to change in M again today. I must have used a lot of stores that clearly don't sell through online, as I felt that a small minority of the items I have are on msm. I have put lots of the items I've got from stores onto the list. Many of them are only in one or two stores of the - it was 12 or 13 - I think it's now probably 18 - that I have checked in the last half week, so I don't know what will work. They will be elsewhere though and they do sometimes suddenly turn up in other stores I check, including ones that I have been to before but weren't there before!
I wasn't planning to go to many extra stores on Sunday. My family had immediately consumed far too much of one of the 10p biscuit assortments I bought the same day:mad:. They were putting them out in my local store at the very moment I was there and seemed unaware they are 10p (good job I happened to visit the stores in the order in which I did, simply because of their location in relation to me, as it was only because the immediately earlier store had a 10p SEL and no stock that I knew the biscuits were 10p as soon as I saw them on their container. Had I gone the stores the other way around, I would never have known, would have left and travelled to the other store, only to find out they were 10p and then have to return and probably find the entire stock gone by then!).
So, I went back to see if there were some more - as clearly we need absolutely way more than I ever buy if they are to last:mad: - as they didn't put the prices on the shelf at the time I was there.
Clearly, however, they must have had 10ps showing on the shelf in the last two days - as the entire stock of those items is now completely vanished and no trace whatsoever of any SELs or the products themselves:(. To get these items, I think you literally have to be there at the time they are putting the 10p on the shelf or otherwise you have to have higher prices than what they really are, or no price at all, showing in your store.
I just went out on the hoof on Sunday morning back to that store as I felt it was my best chance. Maybe no SELs there still. Well they weren't - but no stock:mad: - I found a Tracker Choc. Chip bar but sadly it still scanned at 50p. I was then just going to go to one more store - my last local one, just to satisfy myself that I'd got everything that was available to me. Coming back off the one-way system however, I made a wrong turn and drove for several miles. I then ended up only 2 miles from another M anyway, so I thought I'd go there. And then I ended up on a round trip back, eventually, to home - may as well stop at the next store as it's only a few minutes away! And now the next one is just up the road, so might go there:rotfl:.
In the first store I stopped at - out of the area - I did find the Biscuit Assortment. So they are still out there! The SEL said £1.50:T but of course it went through at 10p. Bit of a difference:rotfl:. I didn't find any stock of anything else - although I did find a 10p SEL for the Tracker White Chocolate:mad:. Just totally hopeless with that on the shelf! I know I am a bit contradictory - I want SELs in every store and for them all to say 10p in the hope that APG collectors would get it and also I needed the first 10p SEL I saw in order to make me aware that it was 10p. Without that, I would never have known at all. However, when I already know, I then want every SEL to be priced as high as possible to ensure that plenty of stock is left and available for me:rotfl:.
However, I got more useful information from every store again of course.0
