Had the dog trimmed a couple of days ago and bless she was either too warm to be on my lap all the time before or needs the warmth now as she won't shift from me, lol. Wouldn't be so bad but if stop smoothing her I get tapped and reminded.

I know how you feel our Poppy is a lap dog . :A

Have already sorted 4 loads. :o Last 2 weeks I took 2 each weekend to DD1s but it's rather a long way to go. Have been popping into OH's aunts occasionally.

:T:T how nice, will be cooking a roast tomorrow then:rotfl::rotfl:

I tell you what bubbs had a fantastic roast last Saturday that my DD1 cooked, she puts me to shame. :o

Mr TS is not sure about the cooker there were a few instructions as it isn't working properly. We had chippy chips for lunch and he has boiled some eggs on the camp kitchen for tea to use up some of my big tub of Approved Food mayo (aug 2015 :o).

Thankfully the washing machine needs no instructions. :D I really am tempted to get a new one that shows how long the wash takes, mine doesn't do that it was one of the things I didn't worry about when I got mine but wish I had now, both friends and aunt's have timers and I want one now.

In fact I think nearly everything I've bought this week didn't have a SEL in the store in which I bought it or else the price label showed a somewhat higher price than the item really was:rotfl:. In fact, in M only a single pack of Fox's Footballs, that I bought in a store that did have 10p price showing, was at the price showing (and, in most cases, no price at all was showing). There was a load of stock in that store at that time but I bought only one pack because I had already bought enough from another store before. A few hours later, all the packs in the 10p SEL store had gone!

I don't think they are necessarily trying to hide these items (in the places that have no SELs) - I found some Freedom Rhino Kitchen Towels the other week in one store didn't have a price showing but I think it's simply because they've brought the product out and simply haven't got round to putting the SEL on rather than choosing to put none on.

And not to forget the couple of items with the 89p price sticker on them that were on store-specific "reduced" price on the RTC shelf. I did not want the reduced price there at all - I wanted the normal BC price of 10p instead as that is what they now were:rotfl:. Fortunately I knew to take the reduced BC label away and scan the original BC. However, my 9p RTC cereal - I chose the reduced BC there:rotfl:. Makes me think though - if I see any whoopsie in future, whether it's worth checking the original BC every time just in case. Someone must have made a costly mistake by not doing so, by being unaware of their actual now general price.

I think I am now, finally, living up to my username - Savvy. Before I joined this thread I would never have thought of any of these things and would have been unaware of items without price labels and would have just picked up other items at paid full price:eek::eek:! And I'm becoming an expert:D:D - added on top of everything before, my recent finding of the Christmas selection box still around and today the Dippers in T, I have now got an understanding of how the supermarket business works. I doubt it'll help much in deciding what to keep and what to get rid of from my list:rotfl:. I'll always remove the items that are still available if I ever remove anything:o:o:rotfl:.
