The DWP's time is up next week, unless it decides to appeal again.

Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.

UC was never going to work, and imho it will be ditched0

If Stephen Crabb announces it is being scrapped or if indeed the DWP stop blocking FOI requests of UC, he'll have a perfect scapegoat in IDS.Master Apothecary Faranell replied, “I assure you, overseer, the Royal Apothecary Society dearly wishes to make up for the tragic misguidance which ended so many lives. We will cause you no trouble. We seek only to continue our research in peace".0

Stephen Crabb MP did indeed refuse to cover the costs of a further appeal by the DWP and the docs have now all been released.
Here's a take on them:

The main finding is that civil servants warned Ministers of problems with the rollout of UC and the need for a further £25m for IT, at the same time Chris Grayling as then DWP Minister said the rollout was progressing well and on time.
Ministers were also informed that more communication and liaison should be made with local authorities to improve the rollout functionality, but this would be politically risky, as Cllrs might go to the media with details of the problems in UC rollout. Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. Thanks for following that up Mersey.
I still maintain Ian Duncan Smith will be a perfect scapegoat to the mess UC is in.Master Apothecary Faranell replied, “I assure you, overseer, the Royal Apothecary Society dearly wishes to make up for the tragic misguidance which ended so many lives.
