New build house price

We are interested in a new build listed at £199500. It has properties listed but have not sold for the last 6/7 weeks . Do you think they would drop the price to £185000 as this is more in our price range.

Always a nightmare finding a house just a little to far out of your range

Ive seen on mse people say the builder won't drop prove a, but others in different areas saying they got theirs reduced.

No one can tell unless you specifically say which development and hope someone has bought off them can answer (but not guaranteed to be the same)

You won't know until you ask. Tell them how interested you are and what you're able to offer then see what they say.

Even if they say no they may come back to you later on with yes.

Also sometimes it's not just about the person who has the highest offer but the person who has everything in place and also has a great attitude.

If not then you will find another one.
