Joint property legal rights?

Hi guys,
Wondered if anyone could give me some advice please?
I'm currently going through a separation. I have a property which I used as a rental, which is in both mine and my ex partners name. As part of the separation they will have the rental house, but as of yet the house is not in their name - to cut a long story short this person has been beyond a bully, and they have recently had builders in tearing the house to pieces, which I was shocked to find out considering the property is still in my name as a joint owner.
Is this legal? What can I do about the situation?
The ex partner has also declined an offer made on the property without consulting the agents (or myself) also.
Thank you in advance for any replies.

You will probably get better advice if you post this on the House buying, renting selling board.0

As a joint owner they can do what they want to the property. You will need a court order to force them to stop what they are doing. This would not necessarily work though as you would need a very good reason to stop them. Now as you said it's going to them anyway so whats the problem?
As far as the offer goes again they can refuse any offers without consulting you or anybody else. You can however also refuse any offers as long as it's in both your names.
P.s just noticed this is the credit cards section, you should ask for it to be moved to either the House buying board or more appropriately the consumer rights section.0
