    Also, I noticed something, because I'm very interested in psychology. (Don't read anything into this personal - the seller is well out of order.)

    You choose the seller out of many and felt charitable to this particular vendor.
    The seller makes a pittance as many sellers do in this cut throat market place. The seller makes a few pennies and doesn't feel the same way you do about the transaction.
    I don't think you read all that I posted, about the psychology of the situation.
    I think you read something that isn't there. The buyer chose this seller based on the expected delivery time. There's no need for amateur psychology to figure out why the seller is indifferent.

    There are some right charmers on eBay, both buyers and sellers. I bought a new CD a couple of weeks ago. When it turned up it was clearly used. Queried it, yes there was an error in the listing that I couldn't change. No apology, nothing. I suggested that a partial refund was in order, how much do you want then? Cue a number of short curt emails. The item was only a couple of quid and the partial refund less than a pound, but it's the principle of the thing. He could have amended his description or relisted. Could have apologised, could have offered a refund, but didn't. I came very close to giving him his first neg, but in the end decided to hit his stars and a short positive since it was ok in the end. But not someone I would, deal with again, nor someone who really deserved a positive.

    For those asking;

    eBay is estimating a delivery date of I believe Wednesday or Thursday (off the top of my head - I haven't logged in to check).

    I'm assuming this is because the seller has listed as 1st class postage with a 1 working day dispatch time.

    I'm really considering giving this guy his first negative.

    I actively avoid anyone who isn't using a 1st class or 24/48 hour courier - even seeking out more expensive sellers just to get this, as I find Royal Mail 2nd class comparable to Horse and Cart and most other couriers that take 3-5 days totally unreliable and painfully slow.

    Had the seller simply said sorry then I'd have been totally cool with it, we all make mistakes. But the sheer arseyness of the reply makes me want to give them a neg.

    I had a buyer today who told me to 'get f
    !' because I asked him (via text) to let me know if he wasn't going to be able to collect the item when we'd arranged. He missed two appointments to collect it yesterday, without apology. I sometimes wonder what's wrong with people. It's not like I'm trying to force the item on him, the goon bid on it himself!

    It depends how deeply you want to think about or discuss things. The OP is clearly making a conversational type post and doesn't need specific help with what is obviously a poor seller.
