Can anyone please give me some advice on buying a property with cash / savings .
After trawling through Rightmove for the last 9 months trying to look for a suitable property in Birmingham within my price range with no joy I have decided to give an auction a try .
My concern is as a cash buyer / first time buyer I do not want to loose my deposit if my Solicitor asks for information which may take longer than the auction deadline to provice.
Is there anyway of having a solicitor looking through my finances and having it all in order before I go to the auction so there is no hold in purchasing the property ?
I have around half in my business account ( 80K ) and the other half which is savings and a loan which was paid back after 5 years ( moved around various accounts to gain better interest ) .
Any help would be much appreciated

A solicitor works for you so once you give instructions the solicitor should do as arranged. It's worth just making sure you let them know what you want and find out if they can offer that. Since you're a cash buyer the process should be straight quick and straight forward.
There are sometimes opportunities for a longer completion, you can talk to the auctioneers. However, if you get a good solicitor there shouldn't be any problem in completing on time.0
