You know you say “security checks” what do you mean by this?Dawbera210 said:
Mine last time just kept getting credited and every time I requested it would return back as credits then finally it did It automatically I was waiting around 2 months for mine with security checks. Type in Google hmrc live chat and then to on self assessment. They might be able to explain a bit more into why it is doing what it is.jameskear said:Dawbera210 said:
No nothing to worry about I'm only going off my past rebates when I requested payment more than once seemed to take longer. All went through fine though still.jameskear said:Dawbera210 said:Don't request it too many times as it starts another application I did this a few years back ended up waiting ages, just let it go through automatically and it should be fine.Oh so I should of just left the first repayment request going 🙈 I’m guessing I have nothing to worry about. Just keep waiting?Because I requested it again and put in my wrong account number, you think I should do a third one with my right details?
How long did it take from requesting payment to it saying processing? In your year you experienced this “not yet issued”Dawbera210 said:

Hi I've been using this forum for a few years and never registered only used to see if anyone has had rebates or not, but reading some of this I felt I could help with some advice as been an accountant for many years. Repayments are automatically generated if requested on return in most cases. If they are not automatically generated then if you do have to request it should generate the repayment at first asking as theres no reasons to request again and again. If its not generating rebate then theres some kind of block, could be a trigger on their systems preventing it. It could be related to bank details etc so I would phone them to check that's not the case. Don't be put off by the advisors as they are scripted to put people off for weeks or months as if you can speak to someone helpful then they should be able to inform you of the block, if they can't issue it. Then if that is the case it sounds like it's being blocked from a higher department within HMRC. This could relate to a check on prior returns so they block all current refunds until the check is complete so again the advisor would be able to say a letter in coming out. However you would then be dealing with a higher HMRC department regarding checks on returns. I hope this is not the case especially in this current climate as investigations can go on and on depending on what's being checked. Hope this helps.jameskear said:Dawbera210 said:
