algarve weather

A friend has offered me his villa for 10 days in the middle of October in Gale, near albufueria/ does anyone know what the weather is like in the algarve at that time of year ?

Will I get the opportunity to lark around in his infinity swimming pool, thats really what I want to know...

I've been in October too, and found the weather perfect, not too hot, not cold.

Sun all the time, and nice and quiet too!

    Go for it!

  • I've been to Portugal a lot and in October it'll probably be between 20-22 degrees C. Although don't hold me to that cause like anywhere it can just as easily rain at any time. We're always lucky with weather there and have never had rain, but I have heard of people that have.

A free villa - lucky you, have fun!!

  • Check the weather on Wunderground. You can get a historical summary of the days you are going. I'm going too! Went once before in October and we were on the beach most days. Expect low 20s but it really is hit and miss as far as sun or rain goes.
