2 Accounts same bank can I switch one and keep the other?

I have 2 current accounts with Santander and would like to close one account and move to Classic Plus Account with TSB using there switch service.

My concern are:

1. do I need to declare the second account I have with Santander
2. and will TSB want me to close this down as well or
3. will TSB during the switch service become aware of the second account and either automatically close the second account or refuse to continue with the switch service until I close the second account.

The switching service applies to one account only, the one that you specify that you want to switch. You don't have to declare any other accounts, and providing that you meet your new bank's credit scoring criteria, they are unlikely to be interested in whether you even have any other accounts.

You don't need to advise of any other current accounts; TSB will not require you to close the remaining account and it will not affect the switch service. Many people have more than one account with the same bank and switch individual accounts without issue.
