[Resolved] Gumtree replies end up in spam folder

Hi, this seemed like the best place to post this.
Mail from Gumtree ends up in my spam folder. It doesn't matter how many times I click 'not spam', the next email goes in the spam folder just the same. I've lost out on prospective buyers and it's losing me money, which is infuriating. Is there any way to fix this? I'm in yahoo mail, but I'm happy to create another account with another provider if it solves the problem.
It's been going on for years. The email comes with a string of random digits and letters attached, which my mailbox treats as spam. I'm so mad about this; just lost a potential buyer and sold something way too cheap on ebay as I had to get rid of it.
Thinking of changing my gumtree username to 'remember to check your spambox', cos that's where any messages will end up...
alright, vent over, any advice gratefully received!

I have a hotmail account and most seem to go into the inbox.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Settings - filters and you can add the end part of the gumtree email address and assign all emails with that to go into a specific folder.0

Also contact Yahoo and ask them how best to deal with it.
I use gmail for several accounts and check the spam filters every day to make sure nothing has wandered in that shouldn't. That and to have a chuckle at the latest amount of money I'm being offered..0 -
Thanks all! I'm going to try a few of these tips, including getting a hotmail account0

I have had the exact same problem, I advertised our caravan for hire and thought it strange I had no response as I normally do, looking in the spam box for something else found about 20 emails.. Very frustrating so im going to try as advised above..0

If I was advising on email accounts, Hotmail would be the last. I'm pretty sure it runs the same as Yahoo. Gmail would be my advice..0 -

They all run pretty much the same. What's wrong with hotmail?
I agree, as a backup I have hotmail, would not touch gmail.0 -

I have hotmail, yahoo and gmail but prefer hotmail. I created a folder on gmail and it shows up in a different place to another folder I created which went under a header/folder and I can't get the new folder to go in the same place. Maybe it's because the first was created long ago and there's been an update since. I don't know.
Also tried to mark something to make it easier to find on gmail...that did not work lol. With hotmail you flag it and there it is! Not sure Yahoo is any better. Maybe there's a way but clearly not as obvious as hotmail and I don't use them enough to bother finding out or to care lol. I find that feature quite useful though.0
