Heathrow Airport Parking Charges!! Warning!

Hi all,
AIrport parking at Heathrow is SO expensive already at £3.90 for an hour. I dropped my husband off yesterday evening and decided to stay and have a coffee with him before his flight. Now, because of the refurbishments it takes you nearly half an hour to get to the airport from the short stay car park, so I thought, alright, I might as well stay for the hour.
The ticket we received at the barrier was time-stamped at 1558 so I thought we'd better go back for just before 1700. We paid for our ticket at 1647 on my watch (which is generally ahead by one min), but the ticket payment machine recorded the time as 1657!!! This means your "hour" parking is only 50mins and any time over, they'll charge you the 90mins price which is about £5.00. There is a customer service desk right next to the payment machines - don't let them get away with it if you park there!
Regards, (and rant over)
