Carpet or Laminate wood for my rental flat
Comments
-
I can't remember the last time I lived in a carpeted property and could not see myself wanting to go back to one.
But different strokes, and all that.
Also wondering about this thing about carpets needing replacing, think anywhere I've lived, they've lasted upwards of 15 years!0 -
Ive hard floors all over my house, the only place I've got carpet is the stairs, landing & master bedroom.0

I'd go for a decent quality laminate over carpet. Don't get the really cheap stuff. We had that in our rented flat and it started to bubble in the kitchen and bathroom, even though I never left water standing on it.0

Cheap laminate is horrible. It looks bad even when new and does not wear well.0
