Carpet or Laminate wood for my rental flat

    Ive hard floors all over my house, the only place I've got carpet is the stairs, landing & master bedroom.

    I'd go for a decent quality laminate over carpet. Don't get the really cheap stuff. We had that in our rented flat and it started to bubble in the kitchen and bathroom, even though I never left water standing on it.

    Cheap laminate is horrible. It looks bad even when new and does not wear well.
