How much is normal for phone and broadband

I have line rental, unlimited evening and weekend calls(for a phone I hardly use) unlimited broadband and bt sport from BT.
My bill has steadily increased to £61.50 per month with an indication it was still not covering my costs and may have to increase again.
Contract expires October 2016. £97 to leave now.
This feels like too much, is it?
Thanks
Mark

    Their is no normal .

    Unlimited BB what package ???
If fibre 76meg you could drop to fibre 32 meg .
Why UL ev weekend if you are paying for them and not used .

    What BT Sport package ??
We really need a breakdown of your bill .

Are you 100% sure your early termination of the contract is £96 . Its usually your remaining months in total .

    £97 to leave seems cheap...

Can you ask BT to lower your package?

    Is BT sport a must?

If you Opt to slower fibre optic, you probably talking about £35 per month.
  • It's unlimited broadband- no fibre in my area, the sports was just a continuation of the free sports I got when I signed up with BT. I enjoy it but don't need it. Was quoted £97 to cancel contract today. Our landline is basically so we can enjoy unsolicited PPI, double glazing and accident calls.

    Thanks

Perhaps you could provide an itemised breakdown of what you pay because you are paying a lot, even if you pay 'full price' for your line rental, calls and broadband it's hard to see how it could be more than £40 to £50 and many will pay BT much less than that, unless you make calls outside of the free periods, or are making calls to 'premium' type numbers that are not included in any calls package, your cancel fee doesn't stack up either, if you have 6 months left, and cancel fees are usually based on your monthly fee x the number of remaining months, so your £97 divided by 6 is £16-£17
