Time it takes for credit card spend to impact credit score

Hi,
I am going to Vegas on Thursday. I would like to use my Halifax Clarity credit card abroad instead of my Santander debit card due to charges. I will be spending and taking cash out. How long will this take to feed through to my credit file? If I pay it off as soon as I am back will it even feed through to my credit file? I am remortgaging and I am near the boundary for maximum borrowing.
