It is your partner who should be resolving this. https://ico.org.uk/for-the-public/credit/

Has he tried his MP? Has he tried CAB?

I know that. When I say I, I do all the work and they sign the letters, send the emails etc as they dont undersand the whole ramifcations of seeing this on their report. Our MP - you may as well do a number two in your hands and clap for the good it will do contacting them. CAB werent interested and pointed in the direction of the ICO who were also equally disinterested because the companies arent chasing them for the debts so dont see it as an issue. People just dont seem interested and its not the first time as Watchdog et al have had episodes on this issue before.

Joint accounts often lead to joint loans and if the other half has
a bad credit report or can't manage their money,
or you think you can change their habits.

Take care, when any relation ship breaks down,
you will be paying half of what you DIDN'T spend.
