I got my mortgage through Accord, I was looking for a 95% mortgage and ended up getting a mortgage for 4.4% over a two year period but with a £1250 cashback on completion which I was happy with.

My mortgage advisor did warn me that they could be picky and slow but as I was not in a rush this did not bother me.

I submitted my application on 15th Feb, after providing a number of documents they reduced the amount they would offer me twice but would offer me the full amount if I extended it by 13 months which I accepted to do. The mortgage included a free valuation and after this the mortgage was approved on 10th March.

Im currently waiting on solicitors to finish appropriate paperwork with a view of completing on the 27th!!

Come and find me when you are ready to make the jump from employed to self employed scoops, my firm has an outstanding T&C scheme and the director looked after me really well when I was setting up and regaining CAS/CPD.
