Do you need a break from comping ??

I'm actually just coming back from a comping break like you.. life got busy and it felt more like a chore to enter than a pleasure.

I'm on a sort of semi-break. I've stopped doing the Click 2 Wins (the captcha issue is one of the main reasons) and just concentrated on stuff that's posted on the forums. My comping count hasn't half dropped, but I don't feel as if I have to finish everything.
I've still won a few little bits, but it got to a point where it wasn't fun anymore trying to do everything.
I feel a bit more relaxed now, and I'm getting other stuff done away from the computer.

I am thinking of taking a break but it is quite hard to stop and I miss the hope of a win. I am having a dry spell so I might get fed up soon and that would make it easier to take a break. I'm surprised someone hasn't studied addiction to comping!

i have been having a break as my health has taken a turn for the worse just haven't got the energy, have only entered a few here and there since last november and i go and win a cruise for two, what's the odds have been trying to win a holiday for the last few years and when im not trying we win, we are over the moon we go in july for 7 days round greece and turkey cant wait just shows its all down to luck.

I take a break from entering competitions most weekends.
More to life that sitting in front of a computer screen on a Saturday and Sunday.

I have been a comper for over a decade and these last few weeks I have for the first time thought about giving up for quite a while, several months at least.

It's the first year I have found next to nothing to enter for, and the first year I have not won even something small so far on in the year.

However the serious lack of stuff to enter for means I breeze through in less than an hour a day.

Can't decide yet 😕

Yes, been doing mainly Goodreads since Xmas with 26 wins

I had a month without the internet and a laptop and then I was busy looking for a new job as I have to leave mine in June (thankfully!) and I was dating someone too for a few weeks.
