Partner credit card or not?

Hi all, just a quick question.
My partner doesn’t have much form of credit as all the bills other than the mortgage is in my name (mortgage is both).
Is it worth just getting her a small credit card to use for fuel etc to build her score/history for the future? She has had CC's in past but she got rid of them about 36 months ago.
My credit file is ok but maybe only being held back because most of the credit agreements are in my name.
P.S - the credit we currently have is a credit card (nothing on it as used for basic purchases), Gas/Electric, Mortgage and furniture (0% with oak furn land).
Thanks!

Yes. It's always worth having some kind of sound credit history.
Use the card regularly and pay in full each month.
Not sure what you mean by your credit file being held back due to having credit agreements in your name though.0 -

Your credit file won't be held back by having a credit card.
The opposite is true, in fact, assuming you are using it correctly.0 -
