Summer flowering bulbs and heleborous questions

Hi

Silly question really but is there anything resembling reliable, summer/autumn flowering, perennial bulb (something like daffodils in terms of coming back year after year). We have clay soil.

When is a good time to plant sacracocoa and Hellebore? I understand both have finished flowering for this year but i am not sure when to plant!

My lillies come back every year, however if the clay stands water-logged in the winter then maybe not.

Crocosmia, alliums, arums should all be reliable in clay soil.

Foxtail lily isn't in my experience, Asiatic lilies are usually OK if you put a good amount of grit under the bulb.
