Summer flowering bulbs and heleborous questions
Hi
Silly question really but is there anything resembling reliable, summer/autumn flowering, perennial bulb (something like daffodils in terms of coming back year after year). We have clay soil.
When is a good time to plant sacracocoa and Hellebore? I understand both have finished flowering for this year but i am not sure when to plant!
Thanks

My lillies come back every year, however if the clay stands water-logged in the winter then maybe not.Never put off until tomorrow what you can avoid doing altogether.:D0

Crocosmia, alliums, arums should all be reliable in clay soil.
Foxtail lily isn't in my experience, Asiatic lilies are usually OK if you put a good amount of grit under the bulb. When is a good time to plant sacracocoa and Hellebore?
Any time really0
