Working Tax Credit

hello! Until now I receive working tax credit. I have been working the last year with at least 15k income. Do I get any more credit? I do not know my exact income. How can I know if I can get it or not? Can I apply and they would reject it if not?

If you already get tax credits then why would you need to apply?

    What are your circumstances?
    Single? Partner?
    Children?
    Working hours?
    Income for 2014/15 tax year?
    Income for 2015/16 tax year?

Shouldn't I apply for the next year? Starting 4 April?
Single no children working hours >30 and I don't know my income!

The tax year starts on 6th. You'll be sent a renewal dorm between April and June. Deadline for completing is July.

Why don't you know your income?

Are you employed? If so don't you get payslips?
If self employed do you not keep records?

Unless you have any disabilities, you won't get working tax credits of you earn over £13,000

your wage slip should state your earnings so far this tax year.
you don't reapply, but you renew when they ask for your details
you say you have been working all year with an income of at least 15k, so you wont be entitled next year, so don't spend your tax credits from 6th april as there may be an overpayment.
you must renew or they will ask for all this years tax credits back /B]

That's not correct. When you don't renew you need to repay everything you receive from 6th April until the claim terminated in July-August. You don't need to repay the amount from the previous year.

You need to finalise the 2015/16 claim yes.

However if you don't, you don't repay everything you've been given for 2015/16. It's finalised on the information they hold which may or may not be correct.

You repay everything from 2016/17 because those were provisional payments until you renew.

It seems almost everybody gets too much and has to repay some
