Uswitch, Late Payments.

Options
I recently switched bank accounts through uswitch, i thought it went perfect until the 1st April when a lot of bills (direct debits) come out of my account.

on my new bank account it shows direct debits but I've just received a late payment email from O2 which should have come out on the first.

I have looked at my bank account and there are multiple other direct debits that haven't taken money either. will all this go against me on my credit score ect.

I thought this Uswitch was supposed to work perfectly, if i knew i had to ring around to change my details i wouldn't have bothered using it in the first place.

    Uswitch is a comparison company.

    OP

Did you ask the new bank to switch your old account?

Is your old account still open?

You should ask Halifax to sort it out.

Otherwise, how would the DDs show in the new account?

    I.e. the DDs were switched.
If the OP changed them manually (that he denies in the next post), then switching the account has nothing to do with this and it doesn't matter whether the old account is still open or not.

You are covered by the current account switch guarantee with your switch so contact the halifax and they will help.

Thats is with the assumption that the account was switched using CASS and account was closed.
