pip - time after assessment for decision

Hi
just a quick one.

I had a assessment with Capita on Thursday of last week, I know that the report has gone back to the DWP, and i was wondering how long typically it takes for them to come back with a decision?

Also how easy is it for me to get hold of a copy of the report?

thanks

I've had 2 PIP assessments the last and more recent one took 4 weeks to get the decision letter after the assessment.

Its - at least in theory - easy to get a copy of the report, simply issue a SAR or phone them up.

    I've been Money Tipped!
They received my form and 2 support letters on the 5 of january. They decided i didnt need an assessment on the 26th of january. The made their decision on the 30th of march so 9 weeks. Although i found out over the phone today and my entitlement letter was sent out on saturday. When i rang them they always told me 4 weeks, then one more week, then 10 days. I hope its not too long for you. I know its very stressful
it might not be much, but its better than a kick in the teeth:rotfl:

Did you have a "home" assessment or in their office ?
Did you have "support" or were you alone ?
Did you feel that you were treated fairly / correctly ?
    These are importabt questions .....
