TSB Repayment Mortgage Quote 1992
DollyPeel
Clearing out old paperwork this morning and we've come across our original first ever mortgage quote, which we did accept.
It says..
Net Monthly Repayment £167.43
TSB Mortgage Protection Plan Monthly Payment £15.64
There's also another for a £3000 'advance' i.e...we took out a loan to get the double glazing done.
Are these considered to be PPI ? I know that we couldn't get the mortgage unless we took the insurance (?)
But, all this is back in 1992/3 Is that too long ago ?
Any answers deeply appreciated.

Monthly repayment will be your monthly repayment.
The £3000 will be a further advance.
The mortgage protection plan is life assurance.
That was the case with most banks upto the mid to late 90s. Quite normal and allowed.I know that we couldn't get the mortgage unless we took the insurance (?)
