    Strange, I didn't have to send any documents at all when I opened my PO card late last year. It all just happened.

    There may have been a reason PO (BOI) asked for additional documents.

    I didnt have any hassle getting one many years ago.

    yes the Halifax Clarity is also great for travelling, I have both

    Not sure why though? Funny how I applied to virgin and got approved straight away. No fuss atall.

    As I said on another thread, I too was approved for a PO card without any requirement for documentation.

    Each provider has different criteria, some may search different credit reference agencies. Companies normally want documentation, if you are borderline creditworthy, for whatever reason.
