How much the bank transfers will cost?
Check the bank's fees and charges.
I'd expect £10-£20Is really transferwise the best solution? Maybe another forex dealer can offer a better deal?0 -
HSBC Euro account, charge is 6 Euro for an online SEPA transfer
Barclays Euro account, 25 pounds for the same SEPA transfer if i am not mistaken.
HSBC wins on cost.0 -
Stop adding extra confusion.
The money (€) is already in some UK bank. It's hardly worth opening another € account in UK and paying for transferring €€ to it.0 -
Transferwise requires you to transfer your Euros to some Lithuanian bank with SEPA. Thus the costs i quoted will be incurred.0
-
Yes, but you can't transfer € from the current bank to, say, HSBC, for free. It will cost the same as transferring to the "Lithuanian bank " directly.0

Can you tell me please the process to convert 100k euros via transferwise? It's the first time I will do it.0

Have a look at Transferwise thread

Don't believe he was speaking to you, not a very helpful response, as you don't know then better not to comment.0 -
You haven't sussed out this posters a troll yet?
Jeez! :rotfl:
Off you go and help him get some new trousers then.
ps Didn't realise you were a moderator
I like to think a bit clueless rather than a troll, your response just seemed pointless and unhelpful.
Get yourself some new trousers, might help you get out a bit more.0
