Can someone explain direct payments payments to me please. Can you claim direct pAyments in addition to attendance allowance and pips or dla? Are direct payments means tested?

there is no cap as such, but there is a standard amount.
this is 70% of of DLA/PIP career attendance allowance.
there is also a taper depending on savings, with no funding being given for those with savings over 50k.

it is difficult to give an answer, as all authorities have different policies on co funding
