How can I hang curtains on this Edwardian bay window?

Like you I have a big bay window (minus the arch). I really hate the blinds inherited. as the main is so big, the previous owners have simply put 2 blinds next to each other. Looking at your picture, it seems you have 3 smaller blinds on the biggest window.
You mentioned a voile for privacy so maybe blinds would be a better option for you? I would also prefer curtains but have accepted that it will need to be blinds for the privacy aspect.
I love the look of plantation shutters but as I don't think this is my forever home, I'm not sure I want to spend that much. My other option is to get made to measure blinds so I one huge bind across the main window and 2 smaller ones on the sides of the bay. I've priced up made to measure wooden blinds on Ebay and the [rice was surprisingly reasonable.0 -
I was considering having three separate roman blinds across the main window, and two separate ones at the sides. I think that would look better than a single wide one across the whole of the main 3 windows.
I could have a voile behind each roman blind on a roller. But that's all very fiddly and means a total of 10 blinds (5 voiles and 5 roman).
Hard to know what to do. None of the options work particularly well.0
