I also have credit card debts on a interest free credit card, an I need my bathroom doing.

Little advice, don't look at what you can't do, look at what you can do. You say you can't do the bathroom yourself, but I'm sure you can start the work in the bathroom to save paying someone else to do it. Take tiles off the walls, remove flooring, if your changing your ceiling, rip the ceiling down and put your new ceiling up ready for the plasterer. I bought my 1st house with no diy skills, now I'm pretty confident doing most jobs, you can learn a lot from diy forums (I use diynot).

Anyway, while your debt is on an interest free credit card, I would leave it on a card, you might aswell take advantage of it, keep your £10k in easy access current accounts and maximise interest.

If things do change and you have to pay them off, you can get the money easy.

That is what I would do, what you do is upto you.

Also when your interest free period is over on your credit card, look at the fee free balance transfer cards, extend that 0% even longer, that all depends on what's available to you at the time.

Seriously tho, most diy things are easy, ripping out is the easiest part aswell.

Also look at other place's for your bathroom, google it, better bathrooms, Victoria plumb, they are just 2 that spring to mind and a fraction of the cost. Look in your local news paper or even Facebook for a local group for trades men.
