Hi,

Has anyone that has one of these cars got a problem with the sound being very low when making calls? Can hardly hear the person you're calling, but they can hear me ok. Is there something I'm missing or an easy fix for this?

Check the volume on your phone when connected in the car.On mine if im using it away from car and not connected to bluetooth the volume reads from 0 to 10 but in the car it seems to be a different control as it will read form 0 to 30 and I had same trouble until I raised volume on phone when connected in car,hope it may help.....

You might find that the volume of the calls can be adjusted using the volume on the stereo and can only be adjusted when making a call.

Never used the Renault system but have used factory fit Bluetooth systems that have worked like that.

There are quite a lot of volumes! There's your phone, and the car, whilst making calls. Whilst not on a call there'll be settings in the sub-menus of R-Link too - have a look in amongst the phone settings, or the Media settings. Should be plenty loud through the speakers.
